  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Shot on an Airbase. Good ole American Muscle.

Limiter kicks in at 198 (you can hear it in the video) ... 505 horses, 24 mpg highway, 11.4 quarter mile times.

Still has a grand left on the tach. 220 without the limiter?

Nice. I'm guessing the ZR1 will be even more impressive...

Should be with 130-140 more horses (LS9).

How do you set up youtube for these? I messed with it for about 15 mins. Couldn't get it to work.

I set it up for you. When you post a topic (not a quick reply), do you see the YouTube button on the right side near the top of the text box? If you click that button, all you need to do is enter the set of characters and numbers that comes after the "V=" in a YouTube address..

In the case of the video above, it was: v=I6EiNFiLhV0 - so I just clicked the YouTube icon and entered I6EiNFiLhV0 inbetween the code it provided me. When all is said and done, it looks like this:

<YOUTUBE>I6EiNFiLhV0</YOUTUBE>

...except the brackets are [ and ] instead of < and >...

Video says it was filmed at a Naval Air Base. I want one that will do that on a carrier...without the ram. :D

I'm gonna have to call BS on this one. There is no vibration on the steering wheel whats so ever. You can jack up the car on a lift and do this.

It is a little weird that there is no vibration in the video but I don't know about lifting the rear wheels and doing this with no resistance or friction on the wheels. I think you can over-rev an engine really quick like that.

I don't know.

There is vibration on the cluster, especially over 160. It is weird that there is no steering input though. Maybe on a chassis dyno.
