  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My car is 2009 3.8L sedan tech package with DIS control, basically my navigation and everything still works except my radio has no audio from speakers & the radio is unable to find/search for radio stations. Wondering what everything thinks if it possibly amplifier or cd/radio control unit ??

I had a 2009 V8. “Car Of The Year”. Every so often, my audio (radio) would not “load” work. HOWEVER, if I shut engine off (stop for fuel, go to coffee shop, go for groceries) when I restarted car, everything would work again.
I found that after sitting off for five minutes, the audio would reload correctly on startup and everything would work.

Don’t know if this will help you.

Yes I had it do that intermittently for a while where it would go back & forth, now it seems that the audio & scanning for stations is gone permanently or has never came back
