  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 2010 4.6 experienced this issue a little over a year ago and the rear (in tank) fuel pump was replaced and resolved the issue, for a year. This issue was intermittent and after several trips to the dealer they were able to replicate in shop.
Issue: break peddle depressed start button pushed starter runs turning over the motor and it does not start.
The same issue began again a few weeks ago. We took it to the dealer and they recommended new battery and new plugs. I replaced the battery and plugs and it seems the hard start has not been resolved.
Has anyone else had this issue? If so how did you resolve it. I do not want to be replacing a fuel pump assembly ($300) every year.
Thank you in advance for any helpful advice/information.
