I want to share my experience having an issue with my 2010 Gen. I drove to the store and when I came out of the store I could not start the car, it cranks but won't start. I tried several times for about an hour and it eventually started, but going up a small hill the car started sputtering and then stalled. I had it towed to my mechanic, and he figured the issue was a fuel pump. Here is the kicker before the car stalled. For about a month I smelled burnt plastic from the rear wheels. I thought there was a plastic bag stuck to my exhaust and I just ignored it and thought with time it will burn off and the smell would stop. So, do not ignore the plastic smell coming from the rear wheels. I want to share my experience and maybe it will help someone. I Purchased this after-market fuel pump from Advance Auto.
