If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "2009 Genesis" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 2009 Genesis Sedan" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... 2011 Genesis Sedan key doesnt work in door/trunk locks.

Something weird is happening with my 2011 Genesis Sedan. It's the 4.6 ltr engine. My key fobs work, however the key (physical key inside the fobs) don't work in the keyhole to unlock the door or the trunk. What's weird is the key works to lock and unlock the glove box. When inserting the key into the door and trunk keyhole, the key appear to bottom-out with about an inch of the key in the keyhole. Like it's hitting cement. Has anyone experienced something like this, and what was your remedy to get that key working in that lock.

Thanks in advance for your input.
