  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello, I am looking for a used Cold Air Intake for my Genesis 4.6 V8 in good condition.

On the 4.6 Tau it will not improve anything and the filters used that are oiled can damage engine sensors in the TAU engine. IMO stay with stock air intake. Also, never use any aftermaket oil filter on the 4.6 V8.

That's interesting. Is there a drop-in filter that flows better than stock that's not oiled? I appreciate this knowledge. I love hearing that induction sound of an engine thats high revving 7000rpm+.

how will it damage the engine or in what way? I have experimented on several makes & model (Audi’s, Hyundai, Kia) all of whom were not damaged by this slight modification. As long as all hoses & sensor are still attached after the modification I don’t see a negative
