I've got the 5.0 from my 2012 that spun a rod bearing or multiple rod bearings.

Engine had 68XXX miles on it when the bearings let go.

It was never starved of oil, always used synthetic oil.

I am willing to install new main/rod bearings for a price.

$1900 AS IS

$2450 with new main/rod bearings.

Will ship anywhere at buyers expense.

You will need exhaust manifolds, or someone to build you a set of headers. You will also need an intake manifold and new motor mounts.

Also, depending on where you're located in California (by your name) I may be able to arrange delivery and avoid unnecessary shipping cost.
 
I'm located in santa rosa(northern California 45 mins from SF). I've made the drive to sparks a few times it's really not too far. What are your plans for the car that this engine came from? I just found out btr no longer does tuned ecu/TCU so which is where I was planning to get those 5.0 components.. and luckily for me I know someone whose been custom fabbing shit for like 20 years

I bought a replacement engine online and installed it. I made a pretty comprehensive write up on my process

Initial plans with this engine were to open it upn and do a rebuild with new main bearings, rod bearings, oil pump and piston rings. Then stuff it into a genesis coupe and make it all work. BUT I already have 2 other back burner projects.
 
There is a BTR ecu/tcu in the classifieds as well.

Ok I thought that was you but was too lazy to go find the thread haha maybe I need to plan a trip out there and me and you can do the rebuild/swap together! Haha

Good luck! Ultimately I've decided to.Boost my 3.8 this upcoming year instead of doing the 5.0 swap. Gonna retrofit a remnant performance bk2 3.8T kit gonna be fuuun.

I'd suggest also fitting the 3.8 cams into your 3.8. Coupe and sedan cams, cylinder heads and intake manifolds are different.

Slightly higher compression in the sedans. I prefer our plastic manifold I know of bk2 that swap over to the sedan plenum bk1s are shit out of luck on that haha but IF (Realy doubt I will) I want to run high boost (over 6 or 7psi) I will build the internals rods pistons n bearings.
