  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi folks,

I am quite sure that I'm not imagining this...
I have a 2012 Genny Sedan premium until 3 weeks ago.
Now I am switching to a 2013 version of the same.

When I was checking the 2013 (I have only test driven it, I am still waiting to get a hold of it) I noticed a difference from my 2012.
I clearly recall that I could get to an in dash menu indicator where the oil level or the temperature are shown.
I was getting to this using the Dist button, or some combination of button presses of the Trip and Dist buttons.

Can anyone remind me how to get to that menu?
Also, is it possible to see the ODB codes in the in dash menu?
I know that you can do that on other cars (including my 2007 Charger...).

Thanks

Never mind, I can't find any evidence of such info in the 2012/2013 Genny dash.
I must have forgotten my Genny's dash already and confused it with my Charger...
Anyway, is there any way to get ODB codes and maintenance info in the entertainment engineering menus?
I will take the new 2013 to my mechanic as soon as I get it, to check everything, including codes.
But if it's not a safety issue, I won't get it fixed by the Hyundai dealership as there's no CPO warranty.
I only have 30 days of safety warranty. Cheers
