  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2012 Hyundai genesis and all the windows except for the driver window rolls down. I dont know how i should fix this.

0. Verify fuse is not blown.

If not then,
1. Remove the door panel.
2. Replace the window switch.

This happens every couple months or so with my car. It's been going on for over a year now.

Normally it will correct itself after fifteen minutes or so.

A couple months ago the problem affected ALL the windows for an hour. You are not alone in dealing with this problem.

I had the same issue. I'm quite sure it's the switch and typically just a bad connection. I pulled my switch out from the driver side door, unplugged it, and plugged it back in. That did the trick. Could be worth it to spray some contact cleaner in the contacts as well.

Same issue. Replaced window switches, fixed problem. Doing it again now, but only lasts for 5-10 minutes at a time

I’ve had this issue for years. I literally punch the side of the armrest with the side of my fist (not that hard) and it works like magic.

Yup, my solution as well

LOL ..same. Mirrors, windows & locks won't work sometimes. Nothing a good ole' punch to the armrest won't fix. 😆

My white 12 did that too. Maybe once a week I had to give the door panel a good thump.
