2012 sedan with adaptive cruise cluster issue

Sorry for the long read,

When using cruise control I cannot change the driver information screen to anything other than the follow distance setting.

When I push the disp button on the steering wheel, the DIC does flash to the next screen for a split second, but defaults right back to the following distance screen.

When I disengage the cruise control or never turn it on , the screen operates as normal.

No codes in any module. No TSBs. And yes I'm using. A proper scan tool, snap-on solus, new and updated.

I've also had Hyundia scan it with no avail.

I've talked to techs, they've never heard of it happening.

Wondering if anyone else has had this happen with a solution?

And yes there was a time long ago when this didn't happen.

Pretty sure that's just normal behavior for SCC-equipped 1st gens.

It never did it before. It's been doing it for a few years. It sat for the last 3 years until I just put a trans in it, and now I care enough again to reach out.
