I recently bought a 2013 sedan with the 3.8. My neighbour's elderly father passed away and I purchased the car as it had only 25,000k or 15000 miles. It's in quite nice shape.
The battery is new and the fob batteries are new. One proximity key will open the doors and start the car fine. The other one I need to use the physical key to open the doors and actually push the start button with the fob to start it.
I though that maybe it had never been used in 9 years and lost the connection to the car.
So, I've got 2 questions. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the spare key issues are? And is there a physical slot for the physical key in the car? I know older sedans had that, but I don't see it on mine, and there's nothing on the dash or center console.
