2013 R-Spec does not crank after being parked up for 2 months. Battery is good.

The car is now at a Hyundai dealership. They tell me the Electronic Control Module is faulty. Hard to believe as the car has been sitting in my garage for two months. What would cause the ECM to fail? Any thoughts or perhaps another cause?

damp? corrosion? could even be as simple as a connector.
