Hey all, my 2013 Rspec got hit, insurance unofficially deem it total...

I see a couple 2014 for sale, wondering if anyone know the differences? one thing I dont like about the 2013 is the harsh ride on 19", wondering if there is any changes to the 14, thanks.

Sorry to hear. I hit a deer with my 2014 Genesis 3.8 in late March of 2024 and they totaled it. They let me keep it and gave me a tad over what it cost to repair it to be good as new. I will have a salvage title which doesn't bother me. It now has 216,700+ miles and runs and drives as well as the day I bought it brand new.

I dont think texas does that tbh, if they going to pay it off, they gonna get whatever is left and scrap it for metals
 
Sorry for your loss, Shady_panda. As far as I recall the only difference from 2013 to 2014 was paint color and heated steering wheel.

thanks, I se that you own a couple 2012 4.6, I was thinking of doing the same to get away from GDI, any trouble with the transmission?

The platinum '12 had an mild and occasional intermittent 2-3 slip that I never really did anything about. I did a single dump-and-fill at 102kmi and it went away. My current white '12 has <40kmi and is has a flawless drivetrain so far.
