  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Whoever is the first to try it for the genesis please post !

It should work... I'd be interested in knowing.

If this works on 2011 Genesis models then I would love it!

I find the fob much bigger then necessary.

So is the general consensus this key would work on any Genesis?

What's the cost to get one (programmed)?

Bumping this to see if anyone has tried it out yet.

I also like the idea of being able to use a credit card sized smartcard on the Genesis. I contacted Hyundai and opened a support ticket to see if they could answer whether or not the Equus smartcard could be used on a Genesis. They called me back on Friday and informed me that it is not possible to use the Equus smartcard on the Genesis. :<

It seems the new Genesis will have one (Korean Model), I wonder if that would be able to be used for 2009-2014, I doubt it though but who knows.
