2014 Kia K9 Super-Awesome Fun-Time Gallery

Once in a while, I find something really cool on RPM9... this time, it was a good gallery on the K9 (remember, this is the Korean Domestic Market version - the Quoris, or whatever it's called here in the US, MAY not have all the same trim levels/features).

I read an article that confirmed their K7 sedan will ALSO feature the seat-buzzing blind-spot detection system and wrap-around parking cameras. That's a good indicator that the next-gen Genesis MIGHT also have those features, since the K9 is bigger than the Genesis, and the K7 smaller. We shall see.

By the way, I am TOTALLY digging the blindspot warning system, but that wrap-around parking camera assist thing is just OFF-THE-HOOK!

Also awesome? The HUD and even the dash clock. Waaaaaaay better than what we have in the Genny.

Snow mode button? YES PLEASE! Front AND side sunvisors? YES PLEASE!

Those embedded rear seat monitors look awesome, but I doubt they'll make it over here to the US.

Power trunk liftgate... nice to have, but not really needed.

KNIGHT RIDER DOOR LED REFLECTOR THINGAMAJIGS??? OMG.... want.

Another good sign? The Lexicon emblem on the speakers... hopefully the next-gen Genesis also keeps the premium sound system we've all come to depend on, not just love.

Not a big fan of the steering wheel layout/controls/design AT ALL. Nor do I like the stupid ghetto-BMW shifter.

You missed how this is the worst looking car every made in the history of KIA I actually threw up a little in my mouth there, while I glanced at a few pics. I had to stop and could not go any further. Korea can keep this one please.

I haven't missed that. My comments about how that front end looks like an ugly catfish have been made on a couple other K9 threads.

Also, notice how all my comments were "tech-related".

Bug-eye headlights make it look like a housefly from the front.

I the interior looks very similar to the Genesis'.

May be the redesigned Genesis in US.
