Just got my car back. 2 JL Audio 12w3 powered by a JL audio 600/1 XD.

Got the setup in the spare tire well and got the Genesis logo in with the setup. Very clean sound also had a cover built in case I need to put something in the trunk and not mess up my subs. Let me know your thoughts.

Very clean install. As someone who used to do a lot of in car audio/electronics, my favorite part was always people who wanted clean, hidden, simple looking installs like that. Now... stop calling a sub install a full "system" and we'll be cool

Man that is absolutely beautiful. My system looks terrible in comparison. I do have one question though; do you still have a spare?

“Haul the mulch” LMAO. Man hell nah, my car is a princess.

Hoondai..of course Hyundai play on words but that’s how it’s pronounced. Liked how it looked.

Nah man. No spare tire. I weighed that decision. I haven’t changed a tire in 13 years because of roadside. Because I have staggered if I blow a tire I’ll call a tow truck to the nearest tire dealer. The rare occasion I leave town I’ll put the speaker cover and toss in the spare, but that’s like once a year.

You clearly must really need your subs to sound and look awesome. Probably not very cheap either. Hah. Very nice though.

Had the installer build me a cover in case I need to put something in the front. It’s the grill in the pic above. I never use my trunk. Single with no kids. Groceries go in the back. Rare instance the trunk is necessary I have the grill to cover the speakers.

Saw the sub set-up and thought, yep....

It initially was going to run me $1400 because I went with an Axxess Digital SignalProcessor with Bluetooth control so I can control it through my iPhone but they were having a difficult time with it and the tech support was 0 help as they said they had no info on the 2015 model. Once that’s been all figured out I’ll go back later and cop one. A DSP makes a huge difference in a setup

Nah. Install was $1k.

Equipment ran me $750

This is just me, but I'll never understand anyone that spends the money to buy a luxury car (or any car for that matter) and then puts stickers on it.... That being said, that sub install is top notch. Your installer is an artist.
