Hey Guys. New 2015 5.0 Ultimate owner here trying to try out a few mods before moving onto more expensive ones.
I ran into the thread (https://genesisowners.com/hyundai-g...your-US-Genesis-Read-on/page3&highlight=2016) where one owner (Dthomas1) was able to produce brighter parking accent lights by switching the brown wire to an adjacent pin at the headlight, however a few questions remained and I wanted to solve them prior to jumping into the mod.
Instead of reallocating the brown wire to the adjacent pin, has anyone instead ran a switched power wire to the empty pin?
What about simply splicing the brown wire into the adjacent pin?
Also, has anyone that has done this mod ran into any issues post-mod?
