  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I only have 50k miles on my 7 year old EQUUS. I really like the car but for one thing that is driving me crazy( and the dealer service department). The drivers side rear view mirror has a mind of its own. Half the time it works correctly-returning to the correct location after folding or reversing. The other half, not so good. Manually. it works perfectly with no slippage. The dealer said that all the controls and logic for the mirror was in the mirror itself and he replaced the mirror. This worked for about 6 months and the problem reappeared. The dealer now has "reset" the the electronic and the mirror worked for three weeks and now it is about half and half again. Are any of you familiar with this problem?? I believe it is the logic board.
