2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 preowned Magnaflow cat back exhaust.

Hi All. Sadly selling my 2015 5.0 ultimate and just last year I bought the magnaflow cat back exhaust system for it but I had to remove to sell the car. Anyway it’s just less than a year old and nothing wrong with it, just discoloration from heat which happens to stainless. Sounds really good, little bit of drone around 2k rpm but not terrible. Gave the 5.0 a nice European sound. I’m in the Long Island NY area and it would be a pick up only situation. I spent about $1300 on it a year ago. Looking to get at least $800. I’ll accept the best offer! Thanks in advance guys!

Nice price, but you lost me with the droning at 2k rpm. The Genesis is too nice of a car to drone on the highway.

Droning is under a load. When your cruising it’s not too bad especially when you get up over 70.

If I'm not mistaken this complete exhaust system comes with the MagnaFlow #11379 (2.5") center muffler/resonator which is a straight-through perforated core design WITHOUT the X inside. If it's replaced with the MagnaFlow #11386 Tru-X design (still a straight-through perforated core, but cross internally) will eliminate drone in any RPM, plus give you a smoother sound. Great price he is asking, my custom exhaust costed more then that.

Thanks for the additional information. However, I like my 5.0 Genesis exhaust to stay quiet on my drives so I am not interested in any droning or loud exhaust on my ride.

I did think that it would be cool to have my 5.0 Genesis sound more aggressive, but it really do not fit the car profile in my opinion. It would be like having an aggressive sounding Lexus LS or Toyota Avalon; weird in my opinion for a Genesis sedan.

I am sure someone else would love the aggressive sound for the great price.

For me, my exhaust sound fits my car's profile perfectly cause I like the sportier sound sedans like the AMGs, Ms, RSs, Maseratis, just to name a few. I wouldn't dare to compare it with an Avalon lol.

I said the same thing as you in regards to when I first purchased by '09 4.6 in Jan of '09. Didn't take too long before I was ready to hear the V8, so probably within two years I was playing with different exhaust options. However, this is not my DD so maybe this is why my catback exhaust is perfect for me on the Genesis.
