I removed my front sway bar on 2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 as part of my sub-frame removal project.
The front sway bar is very very very easy to remove. First remove the front sway bar from the front sway bar links which have 17mm nuts and 6mm hex fittings for preventing the sway bar joints from spinning while loosening the 17mm nuts. The main bar is only held by (4)14mm bolts to the sub-frame. The front sway bar comes out easy with nothing in the way. Very easy front sway bar to remove.
I used a 3/8in breaker bar and 1/4in 6mm hex socket to hold the sway-bar link joints while i used a long ratcheting 17mm wrench to loosen the nut.
Front sway bar removed. Too easy.
