I'm really contemplating buying a 2015 Genesis 3.8 low mileage. I know it's 5 years old, what should I watch for ? Any advice ? Thanks

Look at the service record of the car on CarFax or any of the other similar reports and look for repeated visits to the dealership for the same problem. Several of the Equus and Genesis cars I was looking at had those repeat visit so I passed on the cars. I just (2 weeks ago) bought a 2015 3.8 Base Model with 30k miles, $20k in Florida. I found the previous owner and spoke on the phone with him. All he did to the car was change the oil and tires and said nothing had gone wrong with it. Car did not have a single scratch on it anywhere and the leather looked as though it just rolled off the showroom floor. Just do your homework and find out as much info on the car as you can and have it inspected by an independent mechanic.

Ask people who previously drove it (if they exist), try to go to the service center, and make a full check. Who knows, maybe there are dangerous problems. And just pray (joke) that everything will be alright.
