2015 Transmission no forward motion

The transmission on my 2015 Genesis 5.0 sedan will only work in reverse. While backing out of a parking spot I put in drive the car moved 10Feet and engine raved stopped moving . It will drink in reverse. Absolutely no warning of any issue before this the car has 50,000 miles on it. No warranty available I will have to pay out of pocket!! Any suggestions, I already disconnected battery to reset computer. still no forward motion.

It seems like you may have internal transmission damage in the forward gear clutches. I would prepare for a transmission rebuild or replacement if only reverse works in your transmission.

Take your car to a transmission shop with a good reputation for doing quality work even if they are pricey; not the cheapest transmission shop.
