  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Awhile back, my sound completely went out and now the only noises the car makes is the seat belt indicator. The radio displays like normal and works fine although there is no sound at all. I took it to the dealership where they hooked a second amp to test, and my amp was determined to be blown. They priced a new one at over $1500, mine was not covered under warranty. Anyone had these issues before? I am looking for a cheaper alternative or maybe a amp repair service if possible. I need my music but the pricing seems quite ridiculous lol. ANY comments, suggestions or input is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried resetting the Factory audio system? See this video

Yes I have. As I previously stated, my amp is confirmed blown by the Hyundai dealership.
Sorry to hear that, see if any is available from salvage yard, I saw one recently on FB, check the group "Genesis Owners With Modifications" on FB it was posted on July 20th , Its apparently a flooded car but I guess worth checking. All the best

You can try buying a used amp on Ebay. Here is one for sale. I do not know if it is a 14 or 17 speaker amp.
