2016 Genesis does not lock via key fob

The unlocking feature works with the keyfob, if I hit the lock button on keyfob the light turns red but the door never locks. I also cannot use the outside drivers door to lock either, it will only perform unlock.

I have a Bidirectional Scan Tool and it shows 0 issues with vehicle. When I start the ignition, the door panel inside locks the car just fine when I push the lock button.

Anyone know what could possibly be wrong?

I would try replacing the key fob battery. Sometimes the simple solutions work.

I did that prior to coming here. Unfortunately was not the issue.

Only 1 keyfob. I don't think it's a keyfob issue. The trunk also doesn't pop open with the buttons inside the vehicle.

Something that's related to the trunk + door is preventing them from working.

Did you check the button in the ceiling of the glove box compartment?

Yes, glove department button is for trunk specifically, but I have pushed it in and depressed it, neither one makes an impact on anything.
