I would like to obtain the SD card with the navigation. Where does one go about getting one?

basic unit 8"? : map was recalled 2 weeks ago for an issue that may lock up the headunit, will be re-released shortly according to mapnsoft, there are several threads here about the issue.

The Ultimate trim package update is definitely available. As it happens, my recently ordered update is due to be delivered by FedEx today.

Is there anyway you can send a screen shot of the folders that are on the SD card?
I found a download for the software but the system doesn't recognize it. Wondering if I put the wrong folders on the card.

Cheaper? Doubt it. Better? Takes about 30 minutes and you can drive during that time, or, you can sit at the dealer for 2 hours for them to get to it.

dealer will charge you for the SD chip and their time. typically $150 for the maps, and $100/hr for their time

All depends on the dealer. I charge $200, and I bypass the service department and do it myself for cars coming in here. However, the dealer portal for that site does not allow me to download the update, I can only order a new SD card. If you want to do the download, it's cheaper to do it yourself.
