2016 Genesis sedan electrical issues.

I need help. Working on a 16 genesis sedan. Doors/trunk won't lock or unlock with fob but the turn signals flash as if signal received. Door locks work from door switches with ignition on/run but not if ignition off. Only 1 fob and it tests good. Aftermarket scanner shows signal received in data. Power trunk doesn't operate neither from dash button/fob/lid switch. Panic alarm does work with fob and car off. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Does the scan show any trouble codes?

With all the owners who've had problems with frayed wiring to the trunk lid, and yours doesn't work at all... I'd start there. Though the wiring to the trunk doesn't look like it has any CAN(network) wiring, the trunk lid is connected to the power trunk module, which is on the network. Could be a broken or shorted wire is feeding bad info to the module. Corrupting the network causes all kinds of weird problems. May be a longshot, but it's a start.

Do a search here for trunk, frayed or broken wiring. Well documented.

Thx. No diagnostic codes. I'll look at that wiring and hope I find something.
