2016 Hyundai Genesis AWD 3.8 OEM LED illuminated door scuff plate installation?

Has any one replaced the factory Genesis door scuffs with the OEM factory illuminated ones? I am wondering if there is factory wiring already existing even if I have the non illuminated ones. If not does one have to wire in and tap a connections somewhere? I have found the parts online but no instructions that go with it. Any help or experience would be appreciated.

I did. I purchased the set that came with the wiring and instruction on how and where to tap. It was very easy and quick project:

Do you still have the installation instructions? If so could you share them with me. Also did you buy the OEM ones or aftermarket ones like the ones on ebay?

I wish I kept it. I bought it from here:

Comes with all necessary harness and and printed out instructions with step by step.

Is the illumination the same white as the interior lights or is it blue like in the link picture?

Light blue like the buttons. Check the link in my previous message to my thread with actual picture after installation

It’s really sad that the second generation Genesis did not support plug and play illuminated door sills. On my ‘12 Premium model they plugged right in. Each door took about 10 minutes to install.
