  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

After completing map update (10/26/2021 version), the analog clock that appears on the display screen when the display screen is off, is exactly 6 hours off from the analog clock in the dash. When the display screen is on(radio, map, nav etc.) the analog clock in the dash and any digital clock that appears (when the radio, map, etc.) is on, read the same time and it is accurate.

Issue is that the analog that shows on the display screen is always wrong by exactly 6 hours from the current, local, time. Haven't been able to find anyway to adjust that. Thoughts?

Try setting you time zone to something different and see if the clocks sync up then. If so, then set it back to the correct time zone and you should be good. If that doesn't do it, try the reset button.

Thank you for your response. I have tried different time zones but same issue. I have to plead ignorance as to where I will find the reset button. I guess I can always try a different update, I imagine there is another one out now or coming soon to see if that helps.

From the manual... (Stick a bent out paper clip in the hole.)

Thank you again for responding. I did try the reset. Unfortunately no luck.
I will take a look at what updates are available or wait until maybe October to try a different update.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Just letting you know that I have moved this discussion out of the community lounge and into the second generation Genesis Sedan forum...

Hey thanks! I never knew that was there and I have actually read most of the manual. I'm learning something new about this car regularly!
Yeah - I just found out how to stop my side mirrors from dipping when I put it in reverse! They've been doing it for over a month because I fat fingered a button....
