2017 G80 Premium infotainment/navigation version/updates

I had version 14 installed and downloaded the currently available version which I expected to be version 14.5. My 2017 Genesis said I already had the just downloaded version installed. I went ahead and installed the one just downloaded anyway.

Bottom Line ~ Where and how can I now confirm what version is actually installed.

System Info (Bottom of the List)
Version Map Version 13xxxxxxxxxx

You can find it under settings. It will not say 14.5 though, it will be 13.4 something as shown on the website.

Detailed instructions for installing the V13.0 map updates on my 2018 G80 Sport can be found here. I subsequently did the V14.0 updates and the process is very similar.

Are these updates just for the 2020 models or can I run them in my 2017?

Hello,
I use CarPlay for navigation, so I really don't care if the car maps are up to date.

My question is is there any other value to updating besides getting map updates? I'm not sure what the current version of software is installed.

What model and year G80 do you have?

Per above these instructions were for my 2018 G80 Sport. I can't speak for other years/models, but would expect to to be the same/very similar.
