2017 G80 Ultimate CarPlay option with Magic box or Elite box

I have a 2017 G80 Ultimate AWD with no car play. I came cross the option of using the Magic Box 3.0 or Elite Car Box 4.0 to be able to get Car Play. Has anyone successfully tried this option? There was a recommendation to change the radio to an Alpine which would then be compatible but I think that wouldn’t work with the head unit and steering wheel controls. I appreciate any information

The 2017 Ultimate didn’t come with CarPlay functionality. So both of those streaming boxes won’t help you get CarPlay.

You would have to install something like the Naviks product to get it. See link below.
