I'm very disappointed with the shift quality of my G90. My new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe shifts smoother. At my next maintenance (15,000) I'm going to insist they change the fluid. I know my Hondas and Acura vehicles shifted much better with a fluid change. Maybe the G90 will also. If not I'm definitely going to scrutinize the 2020 or 2021 when I comes time to trade in.
At the 15000 mile service, ask them to reset the transmission to OEM specs.
The transmission system learns from your driving, But some times they can
get themselves a hickup
It will relearn according to your driving habits
I'd check what is covered under the Genesis G90 CPO agreement.
I purchased a low mileage KIA K900 and not only did I get the drive train
10 year 100000 mile warranty, the regular 5 year 60000 mile full coverage
was extended to 10/100000 just like the drive train.
Hard to believe KIA and Genesis ( Hyundai) CPO warranty would be that different
Just looked up my KIA K900 paper work. Looks like the dealership had thrown in a
Protection Plan to increase the basic warranty to 10/100000 says at no charge to
me . The basic warranty for Genesis CPO is indeed 5/60000 unless you or the dealership
extends it thru a Protection Plan.
