2017 Genesis G90 trailer hitch and wiring - going across the country

I know it sounds ridiculous, but hear me out.

I have a 2017 G90 3.3T RWD with 48k on it and I am moving across the country. I have one of the light 4x8 Harbor Freight trailers and total weight will be around 800lbs. with a tongue weight of around 200lbs. I will be the only passenger in the vehicle, driving conservatively.

Anyone else have any experience towing a super light trailer behind their G90?

Hope you checked the stated limitations of the hitch

Hope you checked the stated limitations of the hitch

It’s the CURT and, as far as I know, it’s the only model-specific tow package available for the G90. The hitch package itself is rated at 350lbs. tongue weight and 3,500lbs gross trailer weight, so far below what I’ll be at.
