I've found a few post on here about this but wanted to make sure nothing has been changed.
I have a 2019 G70 3.3T AWD Advanced with 38K miles.
I called the dealer and told them I wanted the recalls handled and the required maintenance. He listed off some items, scheduled the work and sent me an estimate. I am reviewing the estimate and think most of this is bs.
$99.04 Engine Performance Restoration Service Check
$128.08 BG Brake Fluid Exchange
$229.10 Fuel Induction Systems Cleaning Process
$128.00 7QT Full Synthetic Oil Change
They then list 2 recall lines with no details but there are 3 recalls on the car:
010G - Trunk Latch
018G - Starter Assembly
019G - Turbo Oil Supply Pipe
I checked the manual and do not see any of these items other than the oil change (which I can do at my local mechanic for a lot less).
The manual also says to replace the oil in the LSD, which was not mentioned.
However, the online tool at the Genesis USA owners site says just inspect the LSD Oil.
I am going to call another dealer and see what they say. Seems like the service guy is trying to make a few bucks.
