2019 navigation bug with latest nav update(April 2021)?

I have the latest navigation update (April 2021). I think this started happening since upgrade but I am not sure. Maybe there is ghost touchest on the touch screen?

EXACT same problem here. Only when Nav is fullscreen, you're the first who brings this same problem up I've been experiencing. I noticed it only with fullscreen and when there's sunlight for some reason. Not sure if it's a hardware or firmware issue.

I think it started happening since then. I might need to find older firmware .

Yes latest firmware from April, I believe it happened before this though.

Oh really? Hmm I hope they fix it in the next release. I think there should be a new release in October.

Edit: actually I just checked and the new update 15.5 is coming out November 15.

It is happening in mine as well. Was that way when purchased and I did the latest upgrade in hopes that it would resolve with no luck. It also randomly goes to the My Menu screen.

It's so damn frustrating. Don't know how we can get that resolved, don't want them replacing the entire unit because of that.

My experience with ghost touches is that the screen layers started separating producing ghost touches just like the video. Mine eventually looked like a bubble all around screen. Just got it replaced.

The dealer first did an additional software update that did not work and then replaced my head unit, 2019 G70 and that did not fix the problem. Guess I will need to keep trying to track down what is triggering the issue to see if I can resolve it. I'm thinking maybe GPS receiver or Bluetooth error of some sort that causes it to freak out.
