  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hit a water filled pothole in the dark and it knocked off a portion of the undercarriage cover. Does anyone know the cost of getting it replaced. I can do it myself, i just need help finding the actual cover/part number. Thanks for the help

You must have hit something pretty good to knock portions of the undercarriage cover off. They have enough fasteners to not come off overly easy. Have you looked if any other damage occurred? The cover is is two pieces, a smaller sized cover width wise and a larger cover if I remember correctly. I worked remote a lot this past year so have not changed my oil in a while to get under my car this year.

Yes, only the back half has fallen off. The front one with the oil cap part is still intact.

There you are!

I just had to replace 29110C-9100 (the front part). I did the same thing and ripped down the middle where the oil cap is.

That's actually not completely horrible a price.

Dealer quoted me $291 for 29110C. Had no choice but to grab it cause it was discontinued and no website had it in stock

EDIT: Just saw this was the 2022 3.3t. I don't see why the undercarraige design would change, so it should be the same part as a 2019. Be careful because i'm not sure.

Mine was torn when I bought it used and I figured i would replace it eventually, well after a 150mph run down the highway the air tore it the rest of the way. Everywhere I look its discontinued and cant find any for the 2019 G70 3.3t

I just bought mine but its discontinued for genesis idk why lol the trick here is they do have it in stock online. For kia. I just bought it. Cuz the back bigger part fell off for me. And also the front one fell off lol do you know what bolts hold both down. I see the diagram but are they steel screws or those black plastic top screws. The people where I do my oil change said they would install for me for $10 lol but they said to buy all the hardware. They said for the back huge part its 5 screws. And they said they were steel lol but I keep reading they are black plastic ones so I need the real answer lol

They're mostly steel bolts (7 or 9, I think), plus 2 push-clips, if I remember correctly. Nothing should happen to it, even though it's a bit flimsy... unless there are ANY fasteners missing (or you hit it with something, of course). That's why you cannot trust any dealer or shop that they put them all back, and need to check them, if you can (with Rhino ramps is super easy). There's no way any of those bolts would get loose if installed properly.

Ok thanks man. Wouldnt the rhino ramps scratch my front bumper as I drive up them? And do u know the part numbers for the steel bolts and the push clips brother?

Rhino ramps clear the front bumper with room to spare, which was surprising to me. I had 2x6 home-made 'ramps' ready to put before the Rhino ones, but were not needed (that's why I didn't mention that). I also use a new medium-size box undone like a floor mat:). And no P/Ns; sorry. Hope this helps.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Also just for anyone reading this thread. Rhino Ramps will NOT clear if you have Eibach springs. I used some 2x4s right in front of the ramps...worked great.

Thanks brother. Sorry was on vacation. Barely hopped back on the forum lol can you send me a link to the rhinos u bought? Cuz I see a whole bunch. Dont wanna buy the wrong ones that dont clear my bumper lol

Here is where I ordered the undercarriage cover for my Genesis G70 2.0 - 2020

Part Number Part Name Price Quantity Total
29110-G9000 Panel Assembly-Under Cover $190.75 1 $190.75

Subtotal: $190.75
Estimated Shipping to 16801 via Standard Shipping: $38.76
Total: $229.51

Did you end up getting this shipped over to you in a box? How did this go? I'm seeing discounts everywhere but I'm apprehensive of having it shipped over to me. They're not charging much for shipping which probably means they're bending it, folding it and putting it in a box, which is another red flag I guess so curious to know your experience!

Where can I buy the round undercarriage cover that cover where the oil filter is?

There's not much to it, could probably just use a piece of plastic matched to that pattern, drill a couple holes in it and you're good to go.
