  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is anyone else checking out launch events for the '22 G70 and GV70? just got this invite last night for the launch event being held in a huge airplane hanger nearby. oddly, the event is this coming weekend. maybe i wasn't on the "A list" for the first round of invites...

the local Genesis dealer network has done a nice job with events like these. they held a VIP event at the last auto show pre-COVID. they also did a track day with a bunch of G70's and pro drivers. that was a blast and a good test of the G70, especially those of us who got a few hot laps with the drift pros.

saw the G70 refresh, as well as the GV70. most of us know what to expect with the G70. the big news is the front/rear treatments and the new screens inside. i didn't really spend too much time in the G70 since my next car will not be a G70 in its current form. we'll see what the next gen look like in a few years. if i am over my save-the-manuals affliction and the G70 has some type of hybrid option it could be a contender.

i am still on the fence with the new front and rear updates. but overall it is growing on me, and the split headlights is the Genesis theme across all models so i get it. i will say, washing will be a pain with so many more tiny waffle grille and diffuser bits and pieces. the lower rear also has a waffled 'diffuser' trim. this was the Prestige trim, and i believe it was a KDM spec, as was the GV70. the Sport will have darker grille and trim, like it is now.
