  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Decided to let my car go, after reluctantly accepting to order a '24 Porsche Cayman Style Edition 6MT, which will arrive in early October. I'd sell the car to the right buyer NOW, so no worries about that. It has been an awesome car. Rather sell it for what is fair to both seller and buyer to somebody who would appreciate it. Otherwise, I'd just trade it when the new one arrives, which I almost always do. And less hassle, as I'd have to catch a plane to go get it.

Anyway, the car is in immaculate condition. You could eat lunch even on the engine, or floor mats, so that pretty much tells you the condition it's in. I'd pass for new if I put it inside a dealer right now for most people. The front bumper is not even scraped underneath. It has very minor little details due to driving it. It has exactly 7,988 miles at the moment, and maybe half are highway. Car has always been garaged (and always hooked to a smart charger), and I picked it up right off the truck, with 1 mile on the clock. It's probably the only car that wasn't scuffed on the door sills by careless dealership personnel. Truly pristine. Never food, pets, or anything else inside. And leather was conditioned many times. Extras include OEM illuminated door sills (on the window sticker), full ceramic tint (35% front, 20% rear), OEM rear cargo tray, full set of OEM splash guards, angel logo on seats, rear logo on trunk (from the 2021 car), etc.

As far as maintenance, I already did the THIRD oil change 60 miles ago, along with new OEM oil filter, also OEM engine air filter, and OEM cabin filter, so car is ready for a cross-country trip. Drives like new. Not so much as a pothole, and never a service issue (nor a recall), so car hasn't touched dealership after purchase. I do all the maintenance WAY better than any dealer would. Zero oil consumption, and only Mobil1 0/30 oil and OEM filters.

I paid cash, so have the title free and clear in my name, with over 3 years of full warranty left. See maintenance file for in-service date. You'd be saving a ton of money over a new one, and it's a proven good car. I'm looking to get $33,000 FIRM. I could bet my house you can't find a better one than mine. Maybe the same, but it's immaculate. I don't know of anybody as crazy as I am with my vehicles. Ha ha. Car has never been abused; I'm a mature 62 y.o. driver. Please PM me if you want to discuss the car further. I'll post better pictures when the weather improves, and I can get it out.

I could only attach 10 files, so please find here the window sticker. Also attached the wings I put on the front seats; they look awesome. Thank you for considering my car.

I edited the first post with the minimum I'd take ($33K). Take it or leave it. Don't like haggling; it's a waste of time for everybody. Otherwise, I'd probably give it to one of my daughters, especially if Genesis lets her keep the full 10/100K warranty (calling now). I was planning to buy them a new Venue SEL each, which is almost as much as I'm getting for the G, and it's a much better car (but to which daughter? Ha ha). So rather sell it. The other option would be to sell it to AutoNation for $31K, with no risk or hassle. But I'm NOT trading it for $27K (about $28,700 with tax differential); that's for sure. Thank you for your interest.

Debating if I want to advertise it on AutoTrader first, or just sell it to Carvana, or AutoNation. If my wife doesn't want to deal with 'tire kickers', it'll probably be gone next week to one of those 2. PM me if somebody is interested, as I don't check the forum often anymore.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I have more photos that I took yesterday, to list the car on Autotrader on Monday, if a couple of local possibilities don't materialize by the weekend. Leaving for a Barber motorcycle camp, so won't post them until Monday. Convinced the wife to sell it privately, rather than giving up a couple of grand with an online buyer. I'm in no rush, since the Porsche arrives until late September... but that's being wildly optimistic. I just don't want to wait that long, since the car will probably depreciate more by then, and it's just sitting in the garage. It has exactly 8,000 miles right now.

Well, apparently none of the 285 viewers was interested, so just put it on AutoTrader. By the way, how can I remove the ad (or mark it as 'sold') when the car sells (or I trade it in)? The edit function is not available. Seems stupid to leave an add forever when the car sold, but there should be a way to get it deleted. Just need to know how. Thank you guys.

Just learned my freaking local dealer (where I've bought 7 cars in the past) closed, and I wasn't even notified. So I want to get rid of it now, rather than keep waiting until the Porsche arrives (which keeps getting delayed). Since I'd have to drive the car to Austin to get the $31K (no Autonation in ELP), I'd take that if somebody wants it. My daughters live there, so it'd be a good excuse to go visit them. Anyway, I'm helping my wife fostering 6 rambunctious pups now, so would probably do it the following week if no takers by then.

Well, checked Carvana for the hell of it, and they offered a whopping $33,200, so sold it to them. Don't anticipate any issues, so mods, please delete my thread. Thank you.
