  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2022, 3.3. I noticed on the window sticker on the 2023 3.3 Sport Prestige Package, it says power trunk. Does anyone have a 2023, is it really power, like on the GV70?

Yes I have a '23 Sport Prestige and can confirm it has a power trunk

And only the 3.3T. I have a 2023 2.0T Sport Prestige, and it's not power open/close; it just opens, like on previous years. Wish Hyundai didn't delete the 'elite' package on the 2.0Ts, basically making it as equipped as the top 3.3T trim. Oh well. At least the 2.0T SP got ventilated seats for 2023, or I would have bought something else... but wasn't happy to pay 2 grand extra for it. Ha ha.

Can also confirm. finding it very handy as well.

Thanks for all the responses, my 22 don’t have it. It’s not a biggy but is cool. I think I read it’s power up and not power to close?

power both ways. only thing missing. is power close via the fob.

Are you sure you aren't just overlooking the button? I thought it was standard for all Genesis vehicles, like power windows.

Apparently it was just added to the 2023, when I hit the button inside or on my fob it just flies open, then manually shut.

** I wish I could see a video of this operating, can’t find anything online.

That is NOT what people refer as power trunk, but technically it's powered too. My 2023 Sport Prestige 2.0T is like that, where a spring pops it fully open, but you have to manually close it. The 2022 3.3T Sport Prestige I had to return didn't have a full power trunk either; only for '23.

I finally saw a review of a 2023, I can now confirm its power up and down, true power, Mine (2022) pops up, no power, looks like thats all that changed from 2022 to 2023.

The 2.0Ts now have ventilated seats in top trim, and that's why I bought it. But had to pay $2K extra for a 2023, unfortunately, since it was a deal-breaker option, and no 2022 2.0T had it. It also got the black wheels of the 3.3T SP and interior aluminum trim (most likely fake. Ha ha). But wish the 'elite' package of the 2021s was available; don't understand why it was removed from the US market. Oh well. Would have liked HUD, 360 camera, and Napa, but not a huge deal. The one I got has nicer looking leather upholstery than the Napa one, so not all bad.

From my understanding, the power trunk and heated rear seats were removed from the 2022 due to the chip shortage, and have been returned on the 2023 model.

I have a USDM 2022 3.3 Sport Prestige and it does NOT have those two features...
