  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hoping to see if anyone else has done homework on the 2026 Genesis GV70 as it relates to upgrading the wheels? My 2.5T AWD comes with the 19" alloy wheels, and was interested to purchase and upgrade to the 21" factory OEM wheels that come on the 2.5T Sport Prestige Trim. I have checked with a couple dealer's parts departments, and they said this is not possible nor recommended as the suspension is tuned on mine for the 19" alloy wheels. Additionally they said even if I did swap out the wheels for the bigger 21" Sport Prestige wheels, I would be inviting all kind of trouble due to the increased wheel diameter causing calibration issues with the speedometer, ABS sensors, transmission, etc. Curious if anyone else has done any research on upgrading the wheels on a base 2.5T AWD to the bigger 21" diameter found on the Prestige Sport trim?

Total horse sh!t. You get tires to match diameter of stock. MANY people change their wheels without issue. I too kept my 19" for winter and purchased 21" aftermarket wheels, flow formed, light and custom milled offset for a flush to fender look and perfect match to our hub for summer. Lots of threads on this forum about wheels. I oversized my summer tires to slightly larger diameter 265/40/21 (stock 21" is 255/40/21) without issue. Good site to see difference in size and speed of tire sizes, google Tire Comparison.
