  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone tried 20x10 or 20x10.5 all around instead of doing staggered setup? if so, what was the offset?

I tried fitting a 10" rim in the front with a 38mm offset, it was way to close to the strut, to be safe would have needed a 30mm. Stuck out too far though, 9 or 9.5 would be the max without flares.

I have 20x8.5's in the front and 20x10.5 in the rear with 255 and 295. Suits me well enough.

If you don't want staggered I'd suggest 9 or 9.5's all around with 255's or 275's.

I'm running 20x9 +9 225-35-20 in the front and 20x 10 +17 245-30-20 in the back. I don't see anyone fitting a 20x10 in the front unless your doing alot of negative camber. Good luck with that.

Keep in mind that you're also running retarded offsets.

Figured I'd post a couple pics of how weird a 10" wide would look in the front. I also remembered it wasn't the strut it was close to, it's that arm knuckle that comes up from the hub (part of the suspension).
So add 8 to 15mm to this (this was 38, so figure 23-30mm offset) to get clearance. It would probably clear everything with the 275's shown since there is some negative camber from the factor.

It would just look funny IMO.

I'd like to see the pics also, I imagine he's sitting out 5mm more than my rears though in a stretched fitment so the tire clears. :-)

SegaGen did you have a wheel thread?

I do have a picture thread here in this forum. But here are some pics. This isn't for everyone and I understand that, but it's the VIP Style look I'm going for.

camber is maxed out in the rear at like -3 or -4... Something like that.

What wheels are those? I think I might like them ha

well while we are on the topic of offsets, I am looking for some input, I have measured it up myself but looking at some of the pictures on this thread, some of you may know better...long story short the rims I am looking at are 20x9 front and 20x10 rear and I can pick between a 15,25,35 offset for both front and rear. I am looking at getting a 25 offset for the rear, but I wasn't sure what to get for the front. Further I will be running a 255 or 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 tires and the car may be getting lowered a little bit but not much more then an inch or two. Any input would be helpful. thanks

just a bit off topic but still relitive......what is the word on 20X11 on the rears? is it possible, or just over the top?
