270 Mile run today on my 4.6

First time I've had to do a run up and back on the NJ Turnpike. Mileage was 25.5! My Honda Accord which I have used to make that run dozens of times over the years got 27MPG! My 528i gets about 26. The Tau engine is a piece of engineering wizardry for sure.

The other interesting thing that happened today was that I FINALLY saw another Genesis on the road. I've had my car for over 2 months and have not run into a single other car in 1500 miles of driving her around the Phila area. Saw the black V6 up in Northern NJ, driven by a woman and what looked like her mother. I passed her, beeped the horn a few times and we exchanged approving nods...

Where in NJ are you? I've yet to see another Genesis on the road in my neck of woods. I'm in Central NJ.

I have my black 4.6 exactly 2 and a half month now. Today, for the first time I saw another Genesis (black 3.8) coming out of a local shopping mall.

I am in Northern NJ, Belleville area to be exact, and I have yet to see another Genny on the road. I have black on black, window tinted, v6. I am female, but not the female you saw. I kind of like being one in many. Guess soon enough that'll change.

I saw the other 3.8 Genesis in Madison NJ. I live in the Phila suburbs however.

Just did a run to Atlantic City and back from Wayne NJ with the black 4.6 and averaged 26.1 using premium fuel. I also have not seen another Genesis on the road yet in NJ. Overall since I have had the car I am averaging about 21mpg. Not bad at all considering the nature of North Jersey traffic conditions.
