  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Any reason to go for the 3.3T in brookyn, we got cameras all over that send you tickets if you go over 30MPH and bumper to bumper traffic 90% of the time.
How bad is the 2.0? Everyone says get the 3.3T that's all I hear.

I actually went the other way around... and I live in TX, where the speed limit is 80. Ha ha. The 2.0T actually feels torquier than the 3.3T in normal driving, so no such feeling. I used to own all kinds of fast cars, including a GTR, Porsche, etc., but not anymore. The reality is these little engines provide all the performance you need. They even accelerate briskly when doing 100, and without having to downshift at all, so no need for more. I returned my 3.3T because of an engine defect, but didn't want another one due to the exhaust valves not having a way to turn them off. The mechanical noise of a V6 is nice, but not the exhaust (by a long shot), and it was droning a little even in normal mode and easy throttle (and the fake engine noise thru the speakers turned off), and it was worse in sport (which I use all the time), so no thank you. Very happy with the 2.0T, especially the much better fuel mileage with gas prices what they are. But drive both if you can, to decide for yourself. Hope this helps.

That's a question only you can answer for yourself. Everybody has different expectations. A lot depends on what you are used to and how you typically drive. Since your first question is "How bad is the 2.0?"... maybe you should get the 3.3T to avoid disappointment. :)

Brooklyn sounds a lot like some European cities, lol. FWIW, 3.3T is not even offered there. Just 2.0T GDI and the 2.2T Diesel.
