  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi Guys,

is there a procedure for recalibration of the automatic transmission?
Did someone knows?

Hello, I have the same car as you. Does your genny tend to jump a little when changing gears like from 2nd to 3rd? Because I have this issue and it is so irritating.

yes, from time to time, when you drive with very little throttle, it feels

Adaptation should be done after you erase the transmission adaptive values using an advanced OBD scanner. Then you can run the adaptation special function which is done when the ATF temp is in a certain range and throttle is less than 25% and then you drive from 1st gear to the 8th and down to a stop, repeat 5 times. Then you park and move the shifter between R and N 5 times and then N to D 5 times with 5 seconds pause in each position.

On another note, the jerk you feel from 2nd to 3rd or sometimes from 4th to 5th gear is due to an issue with the Transmission oil pump in my opinion and based on my research.

Good luck.
H.

yes maybe is something mechanical, but mine transmission had fluid change on every 90000km, so must not be.
I had issues with the throttle valve because of fail when dealer try to clean it, after that needs replace. with the failed throttle I made some 1000-2000km until I understand it is bad. After that until waiting the replacement I have done 200-300km and after that the fuel pump controller failed. Also needed replacement
