3.8L engine idle speed?

Hi, just curious. Anyone know what the correct idle speed is for the 3.8L engine?
I'm reading off the tacho about 550 revs/min. Maybe it's because it's a large engine, but I'm used to seeing higher values than that on previous cars I have owned with smaller engines. Previous owners manuals gave the value in the engine specs. I cannot find this value in my owners pack.

Same same. My Sonata v6 idles at around 650-700.

Mine idles at around 500 also. I think to change it you'll have to reprogram one of the computers. The days of adjusting anything are long gone. Does anyone want to buy a dwell/tach?

Not that I'm complaining, it idles and runs like buttah.
