  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum.

I just bought a 2013 2.0T RSPEC Coupe (6 - speed manual) and I'm looking for 300HP.
What's the best/easiest/least expensive way to achieve this without putting a cat back exhaust system on my car. My stock exhaust system is plenty loud enough.

Thank you,

Charles

I know this is sort of reviving a dead thread, but...

I don't see you getting to 300 without some decent $$. I've no idea what you're talking about with the stock exhaust being at all loud lol. If you want 300whp, then you'll need a more free flowing exhaust, have a custom one made that replaces the OE cats with high flows and add resonator(s) if you wish. Hell you can even retain the stock tips if you want.

Anyway - aside from exhaust, you'll need a tune. I've got a fairly conservative tune from SFR (seouful racing) as well as bolt ons and I'm just under 300 wheel, which is fine for me. BTRcc on the other hand has a tune that get you into the 315-330 who area and ~280 wtq. Though it's more aggressive, long term effects on the motor?? I've no idea.

To some this up; yes it's a revived thread, but maybe other people will trip on it and find some sort of useful information from it.
