3M Clear Bra.....

After putting 200,000 miles on my 05 Mercedes and seeing how the love-bugs, sand, rocks, occasional raccoon, eyc..has ate away at the paint, I decided to invest in a clear bra.
A local guy (Orlando Fl) is out in my garage doing the installation right now.

in this pic, purposely taken in direct sunlight, you can see how far up the 3M goes on the hood. the line will become less obvious as the film cures over the next couple of days...other than that line, you have to look really hard to find the others. he did a great job...took him just under 4 hours.

ALL the painted surfaces in the front and both side mirrors.

$595.00 parts and labor.....not sure if that is high or not. I didn't shop it around> I went on his reputation with My Audi and Porsche Club friends' recommendations.

looks great bro! the 3M bra itself seems to fetch for 90-150, so labor was probably 100/hr

Nice job I also have 3M clear bra on front and door handles because of the sracthes. My man in Mt. Vernon NY Maddmoe did a couple already and everyone is happy. I drive a white Genny so you can't see the line across the hood, unless you are right on top of the car.

Is there any place online to find out where a dealer/installer is? I can't seem to find anything anywhere...
