  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi Guys,
I changed the 6000K Philips bulbs (exact specification from OEM) and feel that they are brighter and with slight bluish hue. They look very nice. But , the issue is that they are focussed on to the trees. I took it to the dealer again, and they adjusted it and still I feel that they are a little high. The automatic adjustment that happens immediately the head lights are on, is still working just fine. Is adjustment of the beam (low beam) a big and difficult issue? Is it difficult - because they fix the beam during day time and we can actually check how good it is only in the nights? I don't mind paying the money for the labor- I would like to get it fixed to the factory settings..
Any ideas??
Advanced thanks to all those willing to share their two cents..
Thanks a zillion..

If you used the same bulbs (they should look the same) as OEM then the cutoff should be the same, but if it's too high, you can always adjust it.

If you open your hood you'll see light adjustment holes which have arrows like left/right or up/down, they're basically behind the lights so you can adjust any of them with a screwdriver. Just point your car at a wall while on a flat surface and adjust as needed.
