  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hit the 9k mls mark yesterday, here is a quick summary:
No technical problems so far.
occasional power variations, not something I could replicate on purpose, though. Was suspecting the clutch, now I'm leaning more towards compliance in the powertrain.
Throttle is a bit jerky in the 2,5 - 3 k rpm range.
Gearbox is awful, 5th gear is worst. No real quickshifting possible. Ok in daily driving, annoying when having fun. If I were to choose this car again with the experience I have now i would have taken the slushbox.
Bluetooth incoming quality is excellent, but most people i call say that they have a hard time understanding me.
Average mileage (highway + city about 50/50) is around 22.5-23mpg. I hit 30 average once, should be better while doing 65 for hours and hours (i hate driving in Ohio..). Premium only, of course.
Looking at getting snowtires, as the stock ones are slipping quite a bit on wet roads.

I now actually like the stereo, although that is with an ipod. CDs still don't sound right . Don't listen to radio much.
Telescoping wheel would be nice, I prefer a closer position than my long legs allow.
Helmet doesn't fit, not enough headroom on the side... had to try, not an issue anyways.

Interior (centerconsole) is scratching really easy, next to the beltbuckle its all roughed up.

The car is ok for stop and go driving, good and comfortable for long hauls and a hoot to kick butt on backroads. Which is its intent anyways....:D

2 services done with no issues.

So a bunch of smaller annoyances, but overall this is a fun car.
And it still gives me the feeling of driving some much higher priced exotic.
