  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Its has been proven that a 8.5 +40 fit's up front, but what about a 9.5 +30. I'm not worried about how much it sticks out, but inside it would move 2.5mm closer to the spindle.

What sizes have been proven NOT to fit up front? (local shops dont have a 9.5+30 to try on) Thanks

i guess it all depends on your tire set up as well. our headquater in korea was able to fit 19x9.5 18+ without rubbing. i have 20x9 with +38 in front with 33mm spacer i still have about 10mm to get close to the lip of my wheel and fender when my air suspension is dumped to floor. i need new wheels hate using big size spacers....

I have 9.0" +40 up front and it barely clears the upper suspension piece by about 1mm.

Damn your running a 33mm spacer.. WOW... yeah get you some new wheels. I'm running 20x9 +9 225-30-20 up front with no rubing

Yes, i am running 18x9 +40 and it clears, so 8"wide would have plenty of room

Thanks for everyone help. It appears the 9.5+30 will fit fine up front. (running 245/40-19)

before i was looking at the 9.5+30, I was looking at 9.5+22 but thought it may stick out too much. What do u guys think? I wont be lowered for prob another yr.

path914 thanks but does the 3.8 have the same big black calipers up front as the 4.6

For 2012+, yes. Earlier models have the smaller calipers. I have a 2012.

thx, think maybe i have done enough research time to buy.
fyi i had my grill painted to match the car color, looks great.

Frogg, Did your setup of 18x9.5+30 work? Can you post photos? I want to do the same setup but it's hard to sift through different posts for correct information at times.

Only photo I have on hand at the moment but I'm running 18x9.5 +25 with 255/45R18 all around on BC coilovers. Rubs a little on big bumps but also have the V6 kit, upgrading to the stiffer V8 spec springs soon. Ran these last year at stock height without any issue.Snapchat-1765184603.webp
