  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Well my still (nearly) new Genesis will be collecting dust for the next 90 days .

On 6/13 I had an accident which left me with a left leg which cannot bear weight for at least 90 days. I got home from hospital yesterday and I could see the Genny already had a nice layer of dust.

Other than disconnecting the battery any recommendations for long term storage of the Genny?

That sucks. Sorry to hear, especially now that it's finally summer up there.
As for the car, 90 days isn't long enough to go through any elaborate "storage" steps. I suspect there are many car dealers with inventory sitting longer than that. If you don't have someone who will take the car out for a 20 minute drive once a week or so, all I'd do is add some lbs. to the tires, maybe up to 40 or so.
Get well soon!
